What Information Do We Collect?
Some information about you we collect passively - information that your computer and your browser send automatically while you browse our site and use our products. Other information we actively solicit, such as your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or sign up to the purchase or trial of our products.

When you visit our website, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends. We can't tell who you are by examining our log files, except as anonymous users.

Product Use Information
Some of our products allow us to gather information about your computer and about what features you use in our software. This is common for many software products, including games, AntiVirus and office tools. This information is always completely anonymous and only ever used to better understand how people use our software and how we can improve our products.
We encourage you to provide us with feedback in the form of emails or forum posts.
When you email us or use the Contact Form, we maintain the anonymity and privacy of your message. We keep these messages on file for a period of one month, and then delete them permanently.
Forum posts are generally visible to all site visitors and may be archived or deleted as necessary.
If you choose to sign up for the Piriform forums, you must provide an email address for confirmation. Optionally, you may also provide your time zone. This information is kept confidential.
If you choose to sign up for the Piriform newsletter, we will send you an email confirmation to ensure that you in fact requested the newsletter, and to avoid unwanted emails. Your email address is always kept confidential, and we will only use it to send you newsletters or special announcements unless you opt in to other marketing communications. You may unsubscribe at any time and details on how to do this are included in every email.
We encourage and appreciate donations via PayPal, so that we can continue developing software.
If you donate to us, we will receive receipts which include your email address and may include other information from PayPal, but we do not receive any credit card details from PayPal.
PayPal have their own privacy policies which govern when you are using their sites to make donations. You can see their respective policies at:

If you purchase one of our products, the payment will be handled by a 3rd party payment gateway, http://www.cleverbridge.com. They will collect information about you, such as your name and address and credit card details. They only share the minimum with us that we need to set up your account with Piriform. We do not receive any of your credit card details from Cleverbridge. If you opt in to receiving marketing communications from us they will share your name, email address and any other information you provide to them for this purpose.
Spam and Sale of Information
We hate spam. We will never spam you with any unsolicited email, and we will never sell information you have given us to other parties.
Where we Store your Data
Installation of Piriform Software
By installing Piriform software, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions contained in the EULA (end-user licence agreement) that appears when you run the installation programs. Please refer to http://www.piriform.com/legal for more information.
Specific terms for CCleaner for Android
CCleaner for Android requires access to certain personal information on your Android device to provide appropriate functionality. CCleaner for Android does not collect, transmit or store any personal information. Any personal information accessed is used locally on the device and solely for the application to provide suitable functionality. Since we do not collect or store any personal information, we do not disclose and may not use your personal information in any way.
Anonymous information and non-personal information may be used to understand demographics and trends, we may also use anonymous or non-personal information to improve and maintain applications and services.
