Non-Windows Hosts

Non-Windows hosts are computers or other networked devices on a Network that do not run Windows. For example, Linux servers, Apple Macs, or print servers are all examples of non-Windows hosts.

We recommend that you add non-Windows hosts to CCleaner Network. You can indicate that they do not run Windows, so that CCleaner Network will skip them during scans and audits, which results in faster operation.

Adding a non-Windows host

  1. In the Network Tree, select a group under the Network where the Endpoint is located.
  2. Right-click the group, and then select Add Host.
  3. Fill out the Host properties dialog box as follows, and then select OK.
